Quickads vs. Motion App: Analytics vs. Actual Ads
If you read nothing else
- What is Motion App?
- Motion App is a creative analytics tool that grades ads you have already run across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Great for post-campaign reporting, but strictly looks backward.
- What does Motion App NOT do?
- It does NOT make ads. Motion App hands you briefs and spreadsheets, but zero render-ready images, videos, or assets you can actually upload.
- Which should you buy?
-
- Buy Motion App if your only bottleneck is reporting.
- Choose Quickads if your bottleneck is creative output. Quickads functions as a full Motion App alternative, delivering 1200+ finished ad assets every week with dedicated media strategists.
A good scoreboard
Worth being accurate about. Motion does its job. That job is grading work that already exists.
Reporting
Ads beside their numbers
Top-performing and comparative reports, plus launch analysis on Meta. Beats exporting spreadsheets.
Scores
Hook, watch, click, conversion
Four proprietary metrics so a strategist can argue about a video with numbers behind them. Meta and TikTok only.
Tagging
Eight categories, automatic
Asset type, format, hook tactic, theme, offer and more, applied without a tagging pass. Meta only.
Writing
Hooks, concepts, briefs
Motion has added an AI layer that drafts these. Real output. Still nothing you can put in Ads Manager.
Six things buried in the reporting
Each one sourced to a verified G2 reviewer or to Motion's own docs.
01 · Pricing
The bill tracks your ad spend
Bands keyed to monthly spend. Scale up, invoice follows. We bill per creative, so a good quarter costs nothing extra.
Kimara S., 4.0 out of 5, G202 · Setup
Seven attributes per ad name
Format, ad type, theme, visual theme, length, offer, talent. Get one wrong and the grouping breaks.
Verified user, mid-market, G203 · Coverage
Meta gets the real product
Auto tagging, launch analysis and placement breakdown are Meta only. Google Ads cannot be connected at all.
Motion feature matrix04 · Structure
One ad account per platform
Per workspace, and reports pull one source at a time. Agencies disconnect a brand to make room for another.
Motion FAQ, plus Isabella A., G205 · Data
It argues with Ads Manager
Hook and hold rate diverge roughly 15 to 20% of the time. Clients cannot reconcile the weighted average.
Roman P., 4.5 out of 5, and Meredith U., G206 · Access
Seats are rationed
A growth director describes limiting who can self-serve so the licence holds. On enterprise he wants the whole team in.
Brent B., 4.5 out of 5, G2In their own words
Pricing is a little expensive, especially as you scale. I would prefer smaller jumps between spend tiers.
Any mistake or inconsistency in our ad names makes for inaccurate reporting or grouping.
One major frustration was the removal of the winning combo feature after we adapted our naming conventions to align with it.
Sometimes the data is different from Meta. It happens like 15 to 20% of the time while using it.
Motion tells you what to make. Who makes it?
Performance runs on test and learn. The scoreboard is rarely what is holding you up.
Motion's own guidance says its value arrives after ads go live. That puts the insight downstream of the thing actually blocking you.
One brief in. A month of ads out.
Our own award-winning engine, run by strategists who buy media for a living. AI handles form. Humans own substance.

Questions buyers actually ask
What is the Motion app used for?
Grading paid social ad creative. It connects your Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts, groups ads by format, hook and theme, then shows each one beside its numbers so you can decide what to scale or kill. Making the creative is a separate job. That is ours.
Does Motion create ad creative, or only analyse it?
It writes now, which is more than it used to do. Hooks, concepts, scripts, briefs. What it will not hand you is a rendered image or video, and it cannot launch an ad. You can finish a session holding a brief and still have nothing to upload.
What is the best Motion app alternative?
Depends what you are replacing. Swapping one dashboard for another gets you Superads, Atria or Foreplay's analytics layer, and none of them make ads either. If the real problem is an empty queue, Quickads is the better swap. Finished work across every channel, strategists attached, about half the in-house cost.
How much does the Motion app cost?
Bands keyed to your monthly ad spend. There is an entry tier with a spend ceiling, then it becomes a sales call. Kimara S. on G2 asks specifically for smaller jumps between tiers. We bill per creative, so your media budget and your invoice stay unrelated.
Is Motion worth it for a smaller brand?
Motion's own guidance points at teams already launching ten or more creatives a month at real Meta spend. Below that you are paying a slice of media budget to grade a queue that is too thin to grade. Start on our free tier and put the money into output.
Why do Motion's numbers not match Ads Manager?
Weighted averages, its own sync schedule, and ads under certain spend thresholds dropping out. Roman P. on G2 puts hook and hold rate divergence at 15 to 20% of the time. Meredith U. says clients cannot reconcile the two. Worth knowing before it goes in a client deck.
Can I run Motion and Quickads together?
Plenty of clients start that way. Keep the dashboard if the team likes it. We produce the creative, which is the part that was jammed. In practice the reporting line item is usually what gets cut later, because the direction arrives with the work.
What do I get from Quickads in month one?
First finished drafts inside a week, then a rhythm of 1200+ creatives a week. Statics, video, motion banners, lifestyle banners, email graphics, catalogue imagery, ad copy. Billed per creative, white-label if you are an agency.
Do not just analyse your ads. Produce the next winners.
