Questions

Creative intelligence, answered

What is in here, how it is researched, and how far a benchmark carries.

What is in this library?

Four kinds of thing, and the tag on each card says which. Industry reports are category-level reads of live advertising across a named brand set. Brand teardowns take one advertiser apart from its public ad library. Swipe files are hooks and scripts written out for you to adapt. The one case study covers ads we made ourselves, with the brief and the outcome attached.

What is a creative intelligence report?

A category-level read of live advertising. Each report analyses the ads a named set of brands are actually running in a given market and period, then reports what the formats, hooks, messaging and channel mix look like across that set. It is descriptive research on a defined sample, not a forecast.

How are these researched?

Each one starts from a defined ad set pulled from the Quickads ad library, sized and dated in the study itself, and a named brand list. Ads are analysed by format, hook, messaging and placement, then cross-read by market. Every figure describes that sample and the page states its scope.

What is the difference between a teardown and a report?

Sample size and intent. A report reads thirty or more brands to find the pattern in a category. A teardown reads one brand closely to show how that specific machine is built. The GIVA and Fashion Nova pieces are teardowns of public ad libraries, not client work, and neither brand is a Quickads client.

Are the benchmark figures comparable across studies?

Only within a category. Sample sizes, periods and markets differ from study to study, so a CTR index in beauty and one in jewelry are measuring different sets. Read each figure against the scope line printed next to it rather than against another study.

Are they free to read?

Yes. Every study is a public page you can read end to end without an email address, and nothing is paywalled. A couple of the reports also offer a PDF of themselves in exchange for a work email, but that is an extra, not a gate - the full text is on the page either way.

Can I cite these?

Yes. Cite the study by name with its scope line, since every figure is specific to the ad set it analysed. Quoting a figure without the sample it came from will misrepresent it.
