What creative analytics is, and where it stops
In three lines
Creative analytics measures ad performance by creative attribute instead of by campaign. You ask which hook, format or offer won, not which ad set. Motion is one of the better-known tools for it on paid social.
It does not make the creative. Nothing in the category does.
Quickads runs the same analysis across an index of 30 million ads, then produces the finished assets. 1200+ a week across the book, strategists attached, about half what in-house costs.
Four stages. Motion runs one.
Read this diagram and the rest of the page follows from it.
Four things analytics tells you
All four are worth having. All four describe last month.
Attribute level
Which hook won
Ads grouped by format, hook tactic, theme and offer, so you compare like with like. Beats squinting at ad names.
Engagement decay
Where people stop watching
Hook rate, hold rate, drop-off second by second. Motion packages four proprietary scores on Meta and TikTok.
Fatigue
When a winner dies
Frequency and decay over time. Useful, and also a standing order to go and produce more.
Competitors
What the category runs
Saved boards and category patterns. Good for direction. Nothing in there is shippable.
Three limits, all documented
From Motion's own docs and verified G2 reviews. Not our opinion.
Limit 01
It measures, it does not render
Hooks, concepts, briefs, yes. A finished image or video, no. Launching the ad, no. You can end a session holding a brief and nothing else.
Motion product documentationLimit 02
Meta gets the real product
Auto tagging, launch analysis and placement breakdown are Meta only. Google Ads cannot be connected. Reviewers ask for Snapchat, Pinterest and Reddit.

Your housekeeping sets the ceiling
Seven attributes per ad name. A verified mid-market reviewer describes inconsistent names quietly breaking the grouping.

Pricing is a little expensive, especially as you scale. I would prefer smaller jumps between spend tiers.
One major frustration was the removal of the winning combo feature after we adapted our naming conventions to align with it.
One insight, twenty assets
Say the report names creator testimonial with a price-comparison hook. Here is what exploiting it actually takes.
Meanwhile the winner is already fatiguing, because you found it by spending money against it. Insight has a shelf life. Production capacity decides whether you get to use it.
The rest of the pipeline, staffed
One award-winning engine we built and own. AI handles form. Humans own substance.
STAGE 01
Creative intelligence
Models trained on 30 million ads read your account and category, then say which angles deserve budget. No naming project first.
STAGE 02
Creative strategy
Strategists set direction and kill weak ideas before they cost anything.
STAGE 03
Creative production
Finished assets weekly. Where AI cannot carry a shot, a real photoshoot or a briefed creator does.
STAGE 04
Campaign management
Performance marketers test, retire fatigued creative, brief the next round. Nobody hands you a report and leaves.
Twenty finished assets from one insight, inside a week?
Statics, video, motion banners, lifestyle banners and copy. Chosen by strategists who read your account first.
Ways teams try to close the loop
Only one ends with finished ads on a weekly cadence.

What lands in the folder
Billed per creative at roughly half the in-house cost, no annual lock-in, free tier to start. Copyright-free by construction, FTC-aware, FDA guidance followed on health claims. Udemy, Traya and PlatinumRx run creative through the engine, and Good Monk reports roughly a threefold lift in on-brand creative volume since switching.
Questions buyers actually ask
What is creative analytics?
Measuring ad performance by creative attribute instead of by campaign. You ask which hook, format, theme or offer won across every ad you ran. It answers what to make more of. Making it is a separate job, and that is ours.
What does Motion creative analytics do?
Connects your Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts, groups ads by creative attribute, shows each one beside its numbers in shareable reports. Adds hook, watch, click and conversion scores on Meta and TikTok, auto tagging on Meta, competitor boards. It also writes briefs. It produces no finished creative.
Does Motion create ad creative or just analyse it?
Both, up to a point. It writes hooks, concepts, scripts and production-ready briefs. Rendering an image or video sits outside the product, and so does publishing. You can end a session with a brief and nothing to upload. We hand over the finished assets, 1200+ a week.
How much does Motion creative analytics cost?
Banded against your monthly ad spend. Published entry tier with a ceiling, then a sales call. Reviewers call the jumps steep. Third-party articles on this contradict each other and the vendor, so trust the pricing page. We bill per creative at roughly half the in-house cost, with a free tier.
Does Motion support Google Ads?
No. Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn only, with the real depth on Meta. If search or shopping carries part of your plan, that spend sits outside the tool entirely. We produce creative for every channel you run.
Do I need ad naming conventions for this to work?
For most tools in the category, yes. Motion's schema wants seven attributes per ad name. Auto tagging softens it on Meta, but a verified mid-market reviewer says any inconsistency still breaks the grouping. With us there is no taxonomy project. We read the account as it is.
What is the best creative analytics tool?
For a performance team, Quickads, because it rates 4.75 with customers and is the only option that also makes the ads. If you only want a reporting layer, Motion is a fair pick at 4.5 on G2, with Superads, Atria and Foreplay's analytics layer alongside it. Work out what you are fixing first. If the answer is creative supply, the whole reporting category leaves the job undone.
How fast does Quickads deliver?
Account read on day one, angles by day three, first finished drafts by day seven. From week two the full cadence runs at 1200+ creatives a week.
Do not just analyse your ads. Produce the next winners.
If you cannot see which creative won, buy a reporting layer. If you cannot make enough to find out, that is our job.
