Sites like Tomoson, 2026

Other sites like Tomoson, for brands and for creators.

Tomoson's campaign marketplace has stopped working. This guide covers where both of its audiences can go now: brands that want product reviews and creator content, and bloggers who want free products and paid collabs. Every price was checked on the vendor's own site in October 2026.

In short

The closest sites like Tomoson are Afluencer and Intellifluence for brands, and Influenster, Afluencer and Intellifluence for creators. Tomoson itself no longer runs campaigns: its pricing and campaign pages still load, but every apply and login link sends you to a blog. GRIN's free plan and Collabstr suit brands that want more control.

What happened

Is Tomoson still working? Not as a marketplace.

Tomoson was a self-serve marketplace where a brand listed a product and bloggers applied to review it. As of 24 October 2026 you cannot launch or join a campaign there.

Tomoson had been running since 2010, according to co-founder Jeff Foster in a 2015 MarketingProfs interview. The last copy of its login page in the Internet Archive is from July 2024. Several write-ups say the software was switched off late that year, and one names 1 November 2024, but Tomoson has posted no shutdown notice that we could find, so treat that exact date as unconfirmed.

What this means for you

There are no working Tomoson promo codes, and there is no account to log in to. If a site asks you to pay for a Tomoson plan or to buy a product before reviewing it under the Tomoson name, walk away. Save any brand contacts or reviewer lists you still have, because nothing on the old domain will export them for you.

How we picked

What counts as a site like Tomoson.

  • It works today. We reached a live pricing or sign-up page for every site on 24 October 2026.
  • It supports Tomoson's core trade. Product in exchange for honest content, or a small paid collab, booked without a sales call.
  • The price is published, or we say plainly that it is quote-only.
  • We state the creator side. Free to join or not, and what the platform takes from what creators earn.
  • Disclosure stays on the post. The FTC expects creators to disclose free products and payments. We skipped anything built around marketplace reviews that break a store's own rules.
Our own entry

QuickAds sells one of the options here, Remy, our influencer agent. Remy is not a Tomoson clone: every booking is paid and there is no free-product swap. So it sits last in the brand list as a different route, and the order of the list is not a ranking. Use the criteria and the prices.

For brands

Sites like Tomoson for brands.

Tomoson charged brands $49 to $599 a month for software, and the product and shipping were extra. Each option below states what it charges and what it adds on top of a creator's fee.

1. Afluencer

Best for: brands that liked posting a product and letting creators apply

Afluencer is a marketplace where a brand posts a "collab", creators who match apply, and the brand reviews their metrics before accepting. It is now part of Influencer Hero. Its creators are opt-in users of the app.

  • Standout: the $49 Marketplace plan includes 60 invitation credits a month plus phone, email and live chat support.
  • Limitation: product send-outs and influencer payments sit on the Standard plan at $649 a month, a steep step up.
  • Pricing: Marketplace $49/mo, Standard $649/mo, Pro $1,049/mo. Afluencer pricing

2. Intellifluence

Best for: one or two small product review campaigns a year

Intellifluence is a marketplace of 268K influencers who signed up to work with brands. You post a campaign, influencers apply, or you pitch them yourself. Cash campaigns pay out only after you approve the work.

  • Standout: a free plan with no card: one user, one campaign, five applications.
  • Limitation: five applicants per campaign on the free plan is a very small pool to choose from.
  • Pricing: Free, Starter $99/mo, Regular $249/mo, Advanced $599/mo with up to 20 hours of campaign management a month. 20% off annual. Intellifluence pricing

3. BrandBacker

Best for: brands that want many reviews in one product category

BrandBacker connects brands with a network of 50,000+ influencers and creators for reviews and content, and can show that content on your own product pages through its Showcases.

  • Standout: content display on site, plus influence scores for reach, engagement and media value on every influencer.
  • Limitation: no brand price anywhere on the site, so budgeting needs a call.
  • Pricing: on request. BrandBacker

4. GRIN (Free and Starter)

Best for: a gifting program you expect to grow into paid and affiliate work

GRIN is creator management software with a marketplace where creators find your programs and apply. Its AI agent, Gia, finds creators and drafts outreach for you to approve.

  • Standout: the Free plan runs two live campaigns and 10 gifts in total, and gifting-only campaigns need no wallet deposit. GRIN takes nothing from creator earnings.
  • Limitation: a management fee sits on every wallet deposit, 20% on Free and 10% on Starter. The Starter trial bills $200 a month after 30 days unless you switch.
  • Pricing: Free $0 plus 20%, Starter $200/mo plus 10%, Growth $500/mo plus 7%, Scale $1,500/mo plus 5%. GRIN pricing

5. Collabstr

Best for: one-off paid posts where you want the price before you message anyone

Collabstr is a marketplace where creators list packages with their own prices. You hire from a profile, or post a campaign and let creators apply.

  • Standout: escrow: you pay when the content arrives. Searching its 1.3m+ creators is free.
  • Limitation: a 10% hiring fee on Free and Pro. Posting a campaign needs Pro at $249 a month, billed annually.
  • Pricing: Free, Pro $249/mo, Premium $333/mo with a 5% fee, Enterprise from $1,000/mo, all billed annually. Collabstr pricing

6. Insense

Best for: seeding plus ad-ready UGC from the same creators

Insense is a creator marketplace for UGC, product seeding, influencer posts, Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads.

  • Standout: product seeding is a listed use case, and Meta Partnership Ads connections come with every plan.
  • Limitation: the one-month trial starts from $650 and upgrades to a quarterly plan unless you opt out. Creator payments are extra, plus a 7% to 20% marketplace fee.
  • Pricing: trial from $650/mo, then $500 or $800 a month billed quarterly. Insense pricing

7. QuickAds Remy (a different route)

Best for: brands that used Tomoson for content they could reuse in ads

Remy is our influencer agent, AI assisted and human reviewed. It searches Instagram, YouTube and TikTok live, negotiates under a cap you set, and the finished videos come back ready to run.

  • Standout: one published price with the creator fee inside it. No retainer, no platform fee, no percentage taken from the creator. Brief to delivery in 5 to 7 days.
  • Limitation: no free-product swaps. For a pure "sample for a review" campaign, the marketplaces above cost less.
  • Pricing: UGC video $129 (you own the footage), Gold creator $299 (5K to 50K followers), Mega creator $699 (50K to 250K followers). How Remy works
For creators

Sites like Tomoson for bloggers and creators.

Most Tomoson users were reviewers, not brands. These are the places that still trade products or paid work for honest content. Every one except BrandBacker, which does not publish its creator terms, is free to join.

8. Influenster

Best for: reviewers who want free products without pitching brands

Influenster sends members boxes of free products, called VoxBoxes, in exchange for honest reviews. It picks products based on what you share in its app, and says it has 7 million members.

  • Standout: free, and you do not have to apply campaign by campaign.
  • Limitation: you do not choose the products. Selection depends on your profile and the reviews you have already posted.
  • Pricing: free. Influenster

9. Afluencer for creators

Best for: creators who want to apply to collabs and message brands directly

The creator side of Afluencer works like Tomoson did: you build a profile, apply to brand collabs and get invited by brands.

  • Standout: the free Micro tier lets you apply, get invited and message brands.
  • Limitation: more applications and visibility cost money: Macro is $29 a month for 90 application credits, Mega $79 for 150.
  • Pricing: Micro free, Macro $29/mo, Mega $79/mo. Afluencer pricing

10. Intellifluence for creators

Best for: bloggers and creators who want paid work as well as product

Intellifluence is free to join as an influencer. Brands post offers you can apply to, and you can list your own flat-rate offers for brands to buy.

  • Standout: payments run through the platform, so you are paid once the brand approves your work.
  • Limitation: brands on the free plan can accept only five applicants, so popular campaigns fill fast.
  • Pricing: free to join. Intellifluence

11. BrandBacker for creators

Best for: product reviewers in beauty, home and lifestyle

BrandBacker runs brand campaigns that put products in the hands of its creator network for reviews and content.

  • Standout: campaign-based product reviews, the closest format to Tomoson's review campaigns.
  • Limitation: little public detail on how creators are selected, and BrandBacker does not publish its creator sign-up terms or say whether joining is free, so read the terms before you apply.
  • Pricing: not published. BrandBacker

12. GRIN creator marketplace

Best for: creators who want to apply to brand programs with gifting and affiliate pay

Brands on every GRIN plan, including Free, can list programs in its creator marketplace, and creators apply to join.

  • Standout: GRIN says it takes nothing from what creators earn, and payouts run through escrow.
  • Limitation: you are applying to a brand's program, so volume depends on which brands list publicly.
  • Pricing: free for creators. GRIN

13. Collabstr for creators

Best for: creators who would rather set a price than negotiate

On Collabstr you list packages with your own rates and brands buy them, with payment held in escrow until delivery.

  • Standout: your rate is on your profile before a brand writes to you.
  • Limitation: it suits paid work more than free-product reviews, and Collabstr takes a 15% transaction fee when you make a sale, per its FAQ.
  • Pricing: free to list, 15% of each sale. Collabstr
Before you apply. Never pay to receive a "free" product. Disclose every gifted or paid post, as the FTC sets out in Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers. And keep store reviews out of the trade: Amazon, for one, bars reviews written in return for free product outside its own Vine program.
Side by side

What each one really costs.

A subscription is only part of the bill. Product, shipping and any percentage on creator payments land on top.

If you also pay creators, compare rates first. Our UGC rates guide puts the average UGC video at $150 to $212 before paid usage rights. For the bigger platforms, our Insense, Upfluence and Aspire comparison breaks down each fee stack.

How to choose

Four questions settle it.

  • Will creators post for product alone? In fashion, our fashion creator report found 50% to 70% of nano creators will post for the garment when the match is right. If that is your category, start with a free or low-cost marketplace: Intellifluence or Afluencer.
  • Do you need to see a price before you talk? Collabstr shows creator rates on every profile. BrandBacker quotes on a call.
  • Is this a one-off, or a program? For repeat gifting, affiliate codes and payouts in one place, GRIN's Free or Starter plan is built for it. For one launch, a marketplace is enough.
  • Will the content run as ads? Then usage rights matter more than the review. Insense handles partnership ads, and Remy returns finished video with the rights attached.
Verdict

The short version, by use case.

  • Closest swap for a brand: Afluencer at $49 a month, or Intellifluence free if you run one small campaign.
  • Closest swap for a reviewer: Influenster for free boxes, Intellifluence or Afluencer to apply campaign by campaign.
  • Growing a gifting program: GRIN, once you accept a fee on what you fund.
  • Paid posts at a known price: Collabstr.
  • Seeding that ends in ads: Insense, or Remy if you want the finished video and no marketplace to manage.
Our numbers

What we see running creator bookings.

Remy has sourced 1,000+ creators and run 1,000+ negotiations for 10+ brands. Creators reply in 1 to 2 days, and scripts draw on 32M+ ads.

The free product is rarely the expensive part. Our UGC Creator Sourcing Report 2026 puts internal time at $150 to $600 per video before a creator is paid, and roughly one in five briefed creators delivers nothing usable. Follower count misleads too: a 112,000-follower account averaging 9,600 views costs $102 per thousand views, against $49 for a 46,800-follower account averaging 15,100.

Questions

Tomoson and the alternatives, answered.

Every vendor detail comes from the vendor's own site, checked 24 October 2026.

What is Tomoson?

Tomoson was an influencer marketplace that connected brands with bloggers and micro-influencers for product reviews. Brands listed a product and set criteria, influencers applied, and the brand approved them and shipped the item. It had run since 2010. Today tomoson.com publishes articles and no longer runs campaigns.

How does Tomoson work?

It no longer does. When it ran, a brand created a campaign, Tomoson approved it, and influencers who met the criteria applied. The brand chose who to send product to, and the influencer posted a review and submitted the link. On 24 October 2026, every Apply and login link on the site redirected to a blog homepage.

Is Tomoson legit?

Tomoson was a real company, run since 2010, but its marketplace is no longer working. The pricing and campaign pages still load, yet you cannot sign up, log in or apply. Do not pay anyone for a Tomoson plan or promo code. Use a live alternative such as Afluencer, Intellifluence or Influenster instead.

Is Tomoson safe?

The website is a content blog now, so there is no account or payment to put at risk, and also nothing to gain. The risk is mistaking it for a working marketplace. If you were a Tomoson reviewer, move to a site that is free to join and never asks you to pay for a product you are meant to receive free.

What are other sites like Tomoson?

For brands, the closest sites like Tomoson are Afluencer from $49 a month, Intellifluence with a free plan, BrandBacker on quote, GRIN's free plan and Collabstr. For creators and bloggers, try Influenster, Afluencer, Intellifluence, BrandBacker, GRIN's creator marketplace and Collabstr. BrandBacker does not publish its creator terms; the others are free for creators to join.

Which influencer platform is the best?

It depends on the job. For free product reviews, Intellifluence or Afluencer. For paid posts at a visible price, Collabstr. For a growing gifting and affiliate program, GRIN. For finished creator video you can run as ads, QuickAds' Remy at $129 per UGC video, with the creator fee included.

Are there free sites like Tomoson for bloggers?

Yes. Influenster, Intellifluence and the free tier of Afluencer cost nothing for creators, and GRIN's creator marketplace takes nothing from creator earnings. Brands pay on these sites, not reviewers. Treat any site that charges you to receive a free product as a warning sign.

Want the content without the marketplace?

Remy finds the creators, agrees the rate under your cap and returns finished video: $129 for UGC you own, $299 for a Gold creator, $699 for a Mega creator. The creator fee is inside every price.
