GRIN alternatives, 2026

GRIN alternatives, priced against GRIN's new plans.

GRIN now publishes its prices: four self-serve plans from $0 to $1,500 a month, plus a management fee of 5% to 20% on every dollar you put in the creator wallet. Here is what that costs at your volume, why teams leave, and eight GRIN competitors with prices from their own sites.

In short

The best GRIN alternatives are Modash or Heepsy if you mainly need creator search, Upfluence or Influencer Hero for a full program suite, and Collabstr, Insense or QuickAds' Remy if you would rather buy creator content than run software. GRIN itself costs $0 to $1,500 a month plus a 5% to 20% fee on what you fund for creators.

GRIN pricing

How much does GRIN cost per month?

GRIN costs $0, $200, $500 or $1,500 a month on its self-serve plans, plus a management fee of 20%, 10%, 7% or 5% on every wallet deposit. Enterprise is quoted and sold on an annual agreement.

The fee is the part to model. It is added on top when you fund the wallet that pays creators: on Starter, a $1,000 deposit costs $1,100. It is not refunded if you withdraw unspent money later, card deposits may carry a processing fee, and paid or affiliate campaigns need at least $250 in the wallet. GRIN's own FAQ says Starter beats Free above about $2,000 a month in creator funding, Growth beats Starter above about $10,000, and Scale beats Growth above about $50,000. Those breakpoints are where the totals tie:

That is software and payments only. The brief, filming, edits and the right to run the video as an ad are still on your side of the ledger. GRIN pricing page, read 24 October 2026.

The price has moved this year

GRIN sold through demos and annual agreements until January 2026. A third-party guide from April lists self-serve plans at $399 to $1,799 a month, and a review checked 8 October describes credit-based tiers. The page we read on 24 October shows the wallet-fee model above. Check the live page on the day you buy, and get the fee rate in writing.

Why teams leave

Why teams look for GRIN alternatives.

Most teams leave GRIN for one of four reasons: the fee climbs with creator spend, plan limits force an upgrade, the production work stays with them, or the large-program tier needs an annual agreement.

  • The fee grows with your budget. At $50,000 a month in creator spend, the cheapest GRIN setup costs $4,000 a month. Fixed-fee tools charge the same whether you fund $5,000 or $50,000.
  • Limits pick your plan as much as fees do. Starter allows 100 gifts a month and one brand. A second brand means Growth at $500.
  • It is software your team runs. Gia finds creators, drafts outreach and builds campaigns. Scripts, filming, editing, QA and ad usage rights are still yours. Our UGC Creator Sourcing Report 2026 puts that internal time at $150 to $600 per video before the creator is paid.
  • Big programs go annual. Enterprise, with a dedicated account manager and invoice billing, is an annual agreement.
Where GRIN genuinely wins

Published prices, month-to-month self-serve plans and no per-seat billing. Escrow payouts through Stripe, Shopify in one click, a creator marketplace on every plan, and GRIN takes nothing from creator earnings. For a Shopify brand running gifting, affiliate and paid partnerships with one team, it is a strong product. SKIMS, ColourPop and IPSY are named customers.

Alternatives

Eight GRIN alternatives, by the reason you are leaving.

If you mainly use GRIN to find creators

1. Modash

Best for: teams that will keep running the program themselves, with a bigger search index

Modash is creator search, CRM, inbox and content tracking over 380M+ Instagram, TikTok and YouTube profiles with 1K+ followers. Payments and affiliate links come on Performance.

  • Standout: 37 filters, AI and image search, lookalikes, and an AI connector for Claude or ChatGPT.
  • Limitation: everything is metered: Essentials opens 300 profiles and unlocks 150 emails a month. List prices assume annual billing.
  • Pricing: Essentials $199/mo ($2,388 a year), Performance $499/mo ($5,988 a year), Enterprise from $14,700 a year. Modash pricing

2. Heepsy

Best for: search and outreach on a small budget

Heepsy searches Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn with AI, lookalike and text search, then handles email outreach and tracking.

  • Standout: a free plan with 500 results a month, and paid plans from $69.
  • Limitation: Starter tracks five creators and sends 300 outreach emails a month, so it suits search more than running a full program.
  • Pricing: Free, Starter $69/mo, Plus $149/mo, Advanced $229/mo billed annually ($89, $199 and $299 monthly). Heepsy pricing

If you want a full suite without a fee on creator spend

3. Upfluence

Best for: ecommerce brands with large programs who want a fixed fee

Upfluence covers search across a 14M+ creator database, outreach, campaign management with its Jaice AI, ecommerce integrations and payments with automatic 1099s.

  • Standout: Upfluence says every plan is a fixed platform fee and it takes no percentage of sales.
  • Limitation: no published price, a trial only after a sales call, and its own FAQ sets a 12-month minimum contract.
  • Pricing: custom quote by module, team size and volume. Upfluence pricing

4. Influencer Hero

Best for: outreach-heavy programs that want a known monthly bill

Influencer Hero is an influencer CRM with automated outreach, product send-outs, payouts, affiliate links and UGC tracking. It also owns the Afluencer marketplace.

  • Standout: 1,000 to 10,000 reach-outs a month, with Shopify and Klaviyo integrations on every plan.
  • Limitation: every plan has a 3-month minimum term, and the $649 plan has one seat and 20 payouts.
  • Pricing: Standard $649/mo, Pro $1,049/mo, Business $2,490/mo; 20% off quarterly, 30% off yearly. Influencer Hero pricing

5. Intellifluence

Best for: smaller brands that want a marketplace and, sometimes, someone to run it

Intellifluence is a marketplace of 268K signed-up influencers. Its Advanced plan adds a dedicated manager with up to 20 hours of campaign work a month.

  • Standout: a free plan, and a managed tier at $599 that is cheaper than most suites.
  • Limitation: a smaller pool than GRIN's search, and campaigns cap the number of applicants by plan.
  • Pricing: Free, $99, $249 and $599 a month; 20% off annual. Intellifluence pricing

If you would rather buy the content than run the program

6. Collabstr

Best for: paid posts and UGC bought gig by gig at posted rates

Collabstr lists creators with their own package prices. You hire from a profile or post a campaign, and payment sits in escrow until delivery.

  • Standout: you see the creator's rate before you write to them.
  • Limitation: a 10% hiring fee, 5% on Premium, so a fee on creator spend remains. It is gig buying, not relationship management.
  • Pricing: Free, Pro $249/mo, Premium $333/mo, billed annually. Collabstr pricing

7. Insense

Best for: UGC from creators plus Meta Partnership Ads and Spark Ads

Insense is a marketplace built around UGC, seeding and creator ads, with an in-house team for managed campaigns.

  • Standout: partnership-ad connections on every plan.
  • Limitation: plans renew every three months, and creator payments plus a 7% to 20% marketplace fee sit on top.
  • Pricing: trial from $650/mo, then $500 or $800 a month billed quarterly. Insense pricing

8. QuickAds Remy

Best for: teams that want finished creator video, not another CRM to operate

Remy is our influencer agent, AI assisted and human reviewed. It searches Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, negotiates from your handle under your cap, and the scripts draw on 32M+ ads. You get finished video with usage terms attached.

  • Standout: the creator fee is inside one published price, and nothing is taken from the creator. Brief to delivery in 5 to 7 days.
  • Limitation: not a CRM for a 500-creator ambassador roster or an affiliate commission program. If that is the core job, GRIN, Upfluence or Modash fit better.
  • Pricing: UGC video $129, Gold creator $299 (5K to 50K followers), Mega creator $699 (50K to 250K). Platform access on its own is $299 a month. How Remy works
How to choose

Four questions before you switch.

  • How much do you fund creators each month? Below about $2,000, GRIN's fee is small in dollars. Above $10,000, a fixed-fee tool such as Upfluence or Influencer Hero usually costs less, so price both.
  • Do you want to run the program or buy the output? Software (GRIN, Modash, Upfluence) needs an owner for briefs, edits and approvals. Marketplaces and Remy hand back content.
  • Is Shopify attribution the core job? Then stay in software: GRIN, Modash and Upfluence all tie creator codes to orders.
  • Can you commit? Upfluence wants 12 months, Influencer Hero three, Insense renews quarterly. GRIN's self-serve plans and Remy bookings do not tie you in.
Verdict

The short version, by use case.

  • Cheaper search: Heepsy, or Modash if you want the larger index and CRM.
  • Full suite, fixed fee: Influencer Hero on a 3-month term, Upfluence if a 12-month contract is fine.
  • Small brand, little time: Intellifluence, with the managed tier when you need it.
  • Content, gig by gig: Collabstr; Insense when the videos will run as partnership ads.
  • Finished creator video at a fixed price: Remy. Stay on GRIN if affiliate and gifting at scale is the main job.

Software prices rarely include the expensive part. Our UGC Creator Sourcing Report 2026 found roughly one in five briefed creators delivers nothing usable, and that internal briefing and review time costs $150 to $600 per video. Market rates for the video itself run $150 to $212 on average, per our UGC rates guide, before paid usage rights.

Questions

GRIN and its alternatives, answered.

Every vendor detail comes from the vendor's own site, checked 24 October 2026. Third-party figures are labelled as reported.

How much does GRIN cost per month?

GRIN's self-serve plans cost $0, $200, $500 or $1,500 a month, plus a management fee of 20%, 10%, 7% or 5% on every wallet deposit used to pay creators. At $10,000 a month in creator funding, the cheapest setup is $1,200 a month. Enterprise is quoted on an annual agreement. Prices read 24 October 2026.

Is GRIN a legitimate company?

Yes. GRIN is an established creator marketing platform that names SKIMS, ColourPop and IPSY as customers and says 700K+ creators are in its network. It publishes its prices, runs creator payouts through escrow and Stripe, and states that it takes nothing from what creators earn.

How does GRIN work?

You fund a wallet, then GRIN and its AI agent Gia find creators, draft outreach, build gifting, paid, affiliate or UGC campaigns and track the posts. Creator fees are held in escrow and paid out through Stripe. Your plan sets the limits on gifts, brands and searches, and the management fee rate.

What companies use GRIN?

GRIN's pricing page names SKIMS, ColourPop and IPSY. It is built for ecommerce and DTC brands, especially on Shopify, that run gifting, affiliate and paid creator programs. Brands sending thousands of gifts a month move to its Enterprise plan with a dedicated account manager.

What is the best GRIN alternative?

For search, Modash or Heepsy. For a full suite with a fixed fee, Influencer Hero or Upfluence. For buying creator content instead of running software, Collabstr, Insense or QuickAds' Remy, which charges $129 per UGC video with the creator fee included. The right one depends on whether you want to run the program or buy the output.

Is GRIN cheaper than Upfluence?

Often at low volume, because GRIN publishes plans from $0 and Upfluence quotes, with third-party reports starting near $478 a month on a 12-month contract. As creator spend grows, GRIN's 5% to 20% fee adds up, while Upfluence says its fee is fixed. Get both quotes at your real monthly budget.

Can I run influencer marketing without GRIN?

Yes. Small programs run on a spreadsheet plus a marketplace such as Intellifluence or Collabstr. Larger ones use another suite such as Modash or Influencer Hero. If you would rather not run outreach at all, an agent like Remy finds creators, negotiates and delivers finished video at a published price.
