Tomoson's campaign marketplace has stopped working. This guide covers where both of its audiences can go now: brands that want product reviews and creator content, and bloggers who want free products and paid collabs. Every price was checked on the vendor's own site in October 2026.
The closest sites like Tomoson are Afluencer and Intellifluence for brands, and Influenster, Afluencer and Intellifluence for creators. Tomoson itself no longer runs campaigns: its pricing and campaign pages still load, but every apply and login link sends you to a blog. GRIN's free plan and Collabstr suit brands that want more control.

Tomoson was a self-serve marketplace where a brand listed a product and bloggers applied to review it. As of 24 October 2026 you cannot launch or join a campaign there.
Tomoson had been running since 2010, according to co-founder Jeff Foster in a 2015 MarketingProfs interview. The last copy of its login page in the Internet Archive is from July 2024. Several write-ups say the software was switched off late that year, and one names 1 November 2024, but Tomoson has posted no shutdown notice that we could find, so treat that exact date as unconfirmed.
There are no working Tomoson promo codes, and there is no account to log in to. If a site asks you to pay for a Tomoson plan or to buy a product before reviewing it under the Tomoson name, walk away. Save any brand contacts or reviewer lists you still have, because nothing on the old domain will export them for you.
Eight websites like Tomoson cover most of what it did. Some appear in both lists below because they serve brands and creators.
| Site | Serves | Starting price | Model | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Afluencer | Brands and creators | Brands $49/mo; creators free | Post a collab, creators apply | Closest to the Tomoson flow |
| Intellifluence | Brands and creators | Free plan; paid from $99/mo | Marketplace plus pitching | Small review campaigns |
| BrandBacker | Brands and creators | Brand price on request | Product review network | Review volume in one niche |
| GRIN | Brands; creators apply free | Free plus 20% on deposits; $200/mo | Creator software with a marketplace | Gifting you plan to grow |
| Collabstr | Brands and creators | Free plus 10% hiring fee | Creators post priced packages | One-off paid posts |
| Insense | Brands | One-month trial from $650 | Marketplace with seeding and partnership ads | Seeding plus ad-ready UGC |
| Influenster | Reviewers | Free | Product sampling community | Free products without pitching |
| QuickAds Remy | Brands | $129 per UGC video | Agent-run sourcing to finished video | Content you will run as ads |
QuickAds sells one of the options here, Remy, our influencer agent. Remy is not a Tomoson clone: every booking is paid and there is no free-product swap. So it sits last in the brand list as a different route, and the order of the list is not a ranking. Use the criteria and the prices.
Tomoson charged brands $49 to $599 a month for software, and the product and shipping were extra. Each option below states what it charges and what it adds on top of a creator's fee.
Best for: brands that liked posting a product and letting creators apply
Afluencer is a marketplace where a brand posts a "collab", creators who match apply, and the brand reviews their metrics before accepting. It is now part of Influencer Hero. Its creators are opt-in users of the app.
Best for: one or two small product review campaigns a year
Intellifluence is a marketplace of 268K influencers who signed up to work with brands. You post a campaign, influencers apply, or you pitch them yourself. Cash campaigns pay out only after you approve the work.
Best for: brands that want many reviews in one product category
BrandBacker connects brands with a network of 50,000+ influencers and creators for reviews and content, and can show that content on your own product pages through its Showcases.
Best for: a gifting program you expect to grow into paid and affiliate work
GRIN is creator management software with a marketplace where creators find your programs and apply. Its AI agent, Gia, finds creators and drafts outreach for you to approve.
Best for: one-off paid posts where you want the price before you message anyone
Collabstr is a marketplace where creators list packages with their own prices. You hire from a profile, or post a campaign and let creators apply.
Best for: seeding plus ad-ready UGC from the same creators
Insense is a creator marketplace for UGC, product seeding, influencer posts, Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads.
Best for: brands that used Tomoson for content they could reuse in ads
Remy is our influencer agent, AI assisted and human reviewed. It searches Instagram, YouTube and TikTok live, negotiates under a cap you set, and the finished videos come back ready to run.
Most Tomoson users were reviewers, not brands. These are the places that still trade products or paid work for honest content. Every one except BrandBacker, which does not publish its creator terms, is free to join.
Best for: reviewers who want free products without pitching brands
Influenster sends members boxes of free products, called VoxBoxes, in exchange for honest reviews. It picks products based on what you share in its app, and says it has 7 million members.
Best for: creators who want to apply to collabs and message brands directly
The creator side of Afluencer works like Tomoson did: you build a profile, apply to brand collabs and get invited by brands.
Best for: bloggers and creators who want paid work as well as product
Intellifluence is free to join as an influencer. Brands post offers you can apply to, and you can list your own flat-rate offers for brands to buy.
Best for: product reviewers in beauty, home and lifestyle
BrandBacker runs brand campaigns that put products in the hands of its creator network for reviews and content.
Best for: creators who want to apply to brand programs with gifting and affiliate pay
Brands on every GRIN plan, including Free, can list programs in its creator marketplace, and creators apply to join.
Best for: creators who would rather set a price than negotiate
On Collabstr you list packages with your own rates and brands buy them, with payment held in escrow until delivery.
A subscription is only part of the bill. Product, shipping and any percentage on creator payments land on top.
| Site | Free to start | Fee on creator spend | Cost to creators | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Afluencer | Creators only | Not listed | Free; $29 or $79 tiers | Monthly |
| Intellifluence | Yes | Not listed | Free | Monthly or annual |
| BrandBacker | Not published | Not published | Not published | Quote |
| GRIN | Yes | 5% to 20% of deposits | Nothing taken | Monthly |
| Collabstr | Yes | 10% (5% on Premium) | 15% of each sale | Annual for paid plans |
| Insense | No | 7% to 20% | Not published | Quarterly, auto-renews |
| Influenster | Yes | n/a | Free | n/a |
| QuickAds Remy | Seven-day evaluation | None; creator fee inside the price | Nothing taken | Per booking |
If you also pay creators, compare rates first. Our UGC rates guide puts the average UGC video at $150 to $212 before paid usage rights. For the bigger platforms, our Insense, Upfluence and Aspire comparison breaks down each fee stack.
Remy has sourced 1,000+ creators and run 1,000+ negotiations for 10+ brands. Creators reply in 1 to 2 days, and scripts draw on 32M+ ads.
The free product is rarely the expensive part. Our UGC Creator Sourcing Report 2026 puts internal time at $150 to $600 per video before a creator is paid, and roughly one in five briefed creators delivers nothing usable. Follower count misleads too: a 112,000-follower account averaging 9,600 views costs $102 per thousand views, against $49 for a 46,800-follower account averaging 15,100.
Every vendor detail comes from the vendor's own site, checked 24 October 2026.
Tomoson was an influencer marketplace that connected brands with bloggers and micro-influencers for product reviews. Brands listed a product and set criteria, influencers applied, and the brand approved them and shipped the item. It had run since 2010. Today tomoson.com publishes articles and no longer runs campaigns.
It no longer does. When it ran, a brand created a campaign, Tomoson approved it, and influencers who met the criteria applied. The brand chose who to send product to, and the influencer posted a review and submitted the link. On 24 October 2026, every Apply and login link on the site redirected to a blog homepage.
Tomoson was a real company, run since 2010, but its marketplace is no longer working. The pricing and campaign pages still load, yet you cannot sign up, log in or apply. Do not pay anyone for a Tomoson plan or promo code. Use a live alternative such as Afluencer, Intellifluence or Influenster instead.
The website is a content blog now, so there is no account or payment to put at risk, and also nothing to gain. The risk is mistaking it for a working marketplace. If you were a Tomoson reviewer, move to a site that is free to join and never asks you to pay for a product you are meant to receive free.
For brands, the closest sites like Tomoson are Afluencer from $49 a month, Intellifluence with a free plan, BrandBacker on quote, GRIN's free plan and Collabstr. For creators and bloggers, try Influenster, Afluencer, Intellifluence, BrandBacker, GRIN's creator marketplace and Collabstr. BrandBacker does not publish its creator terms; the others are free for creators to join.
It depends on the job. For free product reviews, Intellifluence or Afluencer. For paid posts at a visible price, Collabstr. For a growing gifting and affiliate program, GRIN. For finished creator video you can run as ads, QuickAds' Remy at $129 per UGC video, with the creator fee included.
Yes. Influenster, Intellifluence and the free tier of Afluencer cost nothing for creators, and GRIN's creator marketplace takes nothing from creator earnings. Brands pay on these sites, not reviewers. Treat any site that charges you to receive a free product as a warning sign.
Remy finds the creators, agrees the rate under your cap and returns finished video: $129 for UGC you own, $299 for a Gold creator, $699 for a Mega creator. The creator fee is inside every price.
