How we judged

What we compared, and why.

A UGC platform connects brands with creators who film content for the brand to run as its own. A UGC marketplace is the browse-and-hire version of the same thing. We judged both on five things.

  • Published price for one usable video. We used each vendor's own pricing page, checked 24 October 2026. Where a vendor quotes only on request, we say so.
  • Fees on top. Subscriptions, marketplace percentages and add-ons change the real number more than the headline does.
  • Usage rights. A video you cannot run as a paid ad is a different product. We checked what each licence covers.
  • Work left for your team. Briefing, picking creators, chasing delivery and reviewing cuts. Our own research puts that at $150 to $600 of internal time per video.
  • Turnaround as each vendor publishes it, before product shipping.

We make one of the tools on this list. We put it first because it scores best on the two criteria we weight most: total cost of an ad-ready video with rights included, and how much work stays with you. It does not win on sticker price. JoinBrands, Trend and Billo are all cheaper per video, and we say where each of them is the better buy.

The list

The 8 best UGC platforms, one by one.

What each UGC platform is, who it suits, where it is strong, where it falls short, and what it charges.

Best for ad-ready UGC without the admin

1. QuickAds (Remy)

QuickAds is a creative platform, and Remy is its influencer agent. You describe the creator you want in plain English; Remy searches Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, messages creators from your own handle, agrees the rate and the delivery date, and the brief comes from computer-vision models trained on 32M+ ads. It is AI assisted and human reviewed.

  • Best for: Brands that want UGC they can run as ads this week, with the brief, the rights and the creator chasing handled.
  • Standout: One price with the creator fee inside it. No retainer, no platform fee and no percentage taken from the creator. The same brief can move up to creators who post to their own audience: $299 for 5K to 50K followers, $699 for 50K to 250K.
  • Honest limitation: It costs more per video than JoinBrands, Trend or Billo. It is also younger: 10+ brands are running it and it has sourced 1,000+ creators so far, against marketplaces with pools in the hundreds of thousands. Instagram, YouTube and TikTok only.
  • Pricing: $129 per UGC video, you own the footage. Creators reply in 1 to 2 days and brief to delivery is 5 to 7 days. $1 for a seven-day platform evaluation. See how Remy works.
Best for the lowest cost per asset

2. JoinBrands

JoinBrands is a brief-based UGC marketplace. You post a campaign, creators apply, and you pick. It also runs TikTok Shop affiliate outreach and says it reaches 4M+ creators and affiliates.

  • Best for: High-volume ecommerce and Amazon sellers who want lots of variations and can write their own briefs.
  • Standout: The lowest published floor on this list: UGC videos from $25 and images from $10. Every purchase carries unlimited usage rights, and TikTok Spark Ads and Instagram partnership-ad codes come with relevant campaigns.
  • Honest limitation: The $25 is a floor, not a typical rate, and a 15% platform fee applies on the free plan. You write the brief and do the picking, and the free plan includes one revision request.
  • Pricing: Free plan with a 15% platform fee; Start-up $99/mo (12%), Pro $299/mo (10%), Max $499/mo (8%). Most content lands 3 to 7 days after launch. JoinBrands pricing
Best for US, UK and Canada ad videos

3. Billo

Billo is a UGC video platform with 5,000+ vetted creators in the US, Canada and the UK. It has added data-led script templates, creator matching and creative analytics on top of the marketplace.

  • Best for: DTC brands ordering English-language video ads in steady volume.
  • Standout: Organic posting from creator profiles and paid Meta Partnership Ads or TikTok Spark Ads are both available, so one supplier covers file and handle.
  • Honest limitation: Videos are bought in packs, and posting, partnership ads and editing are priced separately. Billo's own comparison gives typical turnaround as 7 to 12 business days. Creators are limited to three countries.
  • Pricing: From $99 per video, bought as packs; optional CreativeOps subscription. Billo's published comparison, checked October 2026. Billo's public pages do not list a minimum pack size, so confirm it before you order. Our full breakdown is on Billo alternatives.
Best for paid social teams

4. Insense

Insense is a UGC and influencer marketplace with 115k+ creators across 57+ countries, plus automated outreach to a wider influencer database. Approved content can go straight into Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads.

  • Best for: Brands already living in Ads Manager who want creator content and partnership-ad access in one place.
  • Standout: Applications usually arrive within 48 hours, contracts and payments are automated, and rights are recorded as perpetual on approval.
  • Honest limitation: You pay three things: a subscription, a marketplace fee of 7% to 20% on each creator payment, and the creator. The trial upgrades to a quarterly plan unless cancelled 48 hours before it ends. Content takes up to 14 days.
  • Pricing: Trial $650/mo (20% fee, up to 10 creators); Brand $500/mo billed quarterly (10%); Agency $800/mo billed quarterly (7%). UGC campaigns start at $100 per video. Insense pricing
Best for global volume

5. Influee

Influee is a subscription UGC marketplace with access to 180,000+ creators. Each plan caps how many creator collaborations you start a month, not how many videos each creator makes.

  • Best for: Brands running many collaborations a month, including outside the US.
  • Standout: A creator can deliver several videos inside one collaboration, and payments sit in escrow until you approve the content.
  • Honest limitation: You pay the subscription before the first video, then the creator, then a 10% marketplace fee. Its pricing page shows a $92 average for a 30-second US video, while its own FAQ example uses $57, so budget for the higher figure.
  • Pricing: Starter $229/mo (up to 10 collaborations), $529/mo (up to 25), plus creator payments and a 10% fee. Influee pricing
Best for prepaid packs and photos

6. Trend

Trend is a credit-based content platform. Rates are pre-negotiated, so there is no haggling with creators, and each hire produces 2 videos or 5 photos.

  • Best for: Ecommerce teams that need product photos and short videos across many settings.
  • Standout: No subscription, full licensing and distribution rights on everything you approve, and reimbursement if a creator fails to deliver.
  • Honest limitation: Slower than most: Trend says content takes 2 to 3 weeks on average. You buy credits up front, and the per-video price only drops on the larger packs.
  • Pricing: Starter $550 for up to 6 videos ($91.67 each), Essential $1,045, Growth $1,980, Scale $3,872 for up to 56 videos ($69.14 each). Trend pricing
Best for browsing creators with rates shown

7. Collabstr

Collabstr is an influencer and UGC marketplace with 1.3m+ creators. You can search profiles, see each creator's price and hire directly, or post a campaign on paid plans.

  • Best for: Small teams who want to see prices before they talk to anyone.
  • Standout: Rates are visible upfront, payments go through escrow, and paid plans include engagement and fake-follower reports.
  • Honest limitation: It leans toward influencer posts, so check whether a listing is content only or includes posting. Usage rights are agreed creator by creator, not set by the platform.
  • Pricing: Free with a 10% hiring fee; Pro $249/mo and Premium $333/mo (5% fee), both billed annually. Collabstr pricing
Best for enterprise programs

8. Cohley

Cohley is a content platform for mid-market and enterprise brands, covering UGC video, photos, reviews and influencer activations, with an AI agent called Finn and an optional managed service.

  • Best for: Larger consumer brands feeding paid social, product pages and retailers such as Amazon from one program.
  • Standout: Perpetual content rights across all channels, SOC 2, and a fully managed tier that handles recruiting, contracts and payments.
  • Honest limitation: No published price. Every plan is a custom quote and it starts with a 3-month pilot, which is a lot for a brand that needs ten videos.
  • Pricing: Custom pricing; optional 3-month paid pilot. Cohley pricing

PlatformWhat 10 videos cost in month onePer videoWhat is not included

JoinBrands (free plan)10 × ($25 + 15%) = $287.50 at the floorFrom $28.75Briefing and review are yours; most creators charge above the floor
Billo10 × $99 = $990From $99Editing, posting and partnership ads priced separately
TrendEssential pack, $1,045 for up to 14 videos$74.64 on EssentialPaid up front; briefing, selection and shipping are yours
Influee (Starter)$229 + 10 × ($92 + 10%) = $1,241About $124Uses Influee's published $92 US average
Insense (Brand)$500 + 10 × ($100 + 10%) = $1,600About $160Billed quarterly, so $1,500 for the plan up front
The part no rate card shows. Our UGC Creator Sourcing Report 2026 puts the internal cost of briefing, review and coordination at $150 to $600 per video before the creator is paid, and roughly one in five briefed creators delivers nothing usable. A $25 video that needs four hours of your team is not the cheapest video.

So the cheapest way to get UGC depends on what you count. If your team has spare hours, a $25-floor marketplace wins. If it does not, price the time first. Market rates for a single edited video average $150 to $212, and paid usage often adds 20% to 30% of the base rate per month, which is laid out on our UGC rates page.

How to choose

Five questions before you sign up.

Most brands pick on price per video and regret it on rights or workload. Work through these in order.

  1. 01Decide whether you need a file or a handleIf the video will run from your own ad account, buy UGC. If it needs to post to the creator's followers or run as a partnership ad, check the platform supports that and what it charges.
  2. 02Price the licence, not the videoAsk whether paid social use is included and for how long. JoinBrands, Trend and Cohley include broad rights; elsewhere it varies by creator.
  3. 03Add the fees and the subscriptionA 10% to 20% marketplace fee plus a monthly plan can move a $100 video to $160, as the table above shows.
  4. 04Count who writes the briefIf nobody on your team has two to four hours per concept, pick a platform or agent that writes it for you.
  5. 05Test three to five creators before committing volumeThen keep the ones who deliver. Retained creators commonly come in 15% to 30% below one-off rates.

Questions

UGC platforms, answered.

Competitor figures come from each vendor's own pricing page or documentation, checked October 2026.

Which platform is best for UGC?

It depends on how much work you want to keep. JoinBrands has the lowest published floor, $25 a video plus a 15% fee on its free plan. Trend packages work out at $69 to $92 a video with full licensing. QuickAds is $129 a video with the brief, editing and rights included. Cohley suits enterprise teams that want a managed program.

What is an UGC platform?

A UGC platform is software that connects brands with creators who film product videos and photos for the brand to use in its own ads and channels. Most handle the brief, creator applications, payment and the usage licence. Some, called UGC marketplaces, also let you browse creator profiles and hire directly from them.

What is the cheapest way to get UGC?

The lowest published price is JoinBrands, where videos start at $25 plus a 15% platform fee on the free plan. Gifting product to existing customers costs less again but rarely gives you a paid-ads licence. Count your own time too: our sourcing report puts internal briefing and review at $150 to $600 per video.

Do UGC platforms add fees on top of the creator's rate?

Most do. On published 2026 pricing, JoinBrands adds 8% to 15% depending on plan, Insense 7% to 20%, Influee 10% and Collabstr 5% to 10%, usually on top of a monthly subscription. Trend and Billo price per video or per credit instead. QuickAds adds nothing to what the creator is paid.

Is UGC still a thing in 2026?

Yes. In the Influencer Marketing Hub 2026 benchmark, 50% of brands planned to increase their use of UGC creators and none planned to reduce it. What changed is the buying: more brands now want usage rights, partnership-ad codes and data-led briefs included with the video file.

How long does a UGC platform take to deliver?

Published timelines run from about five days to three weeks. JoinBrands says most brands get content within 3 to 7 days, Billo typically 7 to 12 business days, Insense within 14 days and Trend 2 to 3 weeks on average. QuickAds quotes 5 to 7 days from brief to delivery. Product shipping adds time everywhere.

Next

One price, the creator fee inside it.

UGC at $129 a video for the volume half of your plan, and creators with their own audience at $299 and $699 for the half that needs a face and a following. Same brief, same review, and the partnership code lands in your own ad account.
