Modash alternatives, 2026

Modash alternatives, sorted by why you are leaving.

Modash is a strong creator search tool with published prices. Teams leave it for three reasons: the monthly caps on opened profiles and email unlocks, the step up to the next plan, or the work that starts once the search ends. Here is the best Modash alternative for each, priced from the vendor's own site.

In short

The best Modash alternatives are Heepsy for cheaper search, HypeAuditor for audience-quality checks, GRIN or Upfluence for a fuller program suite, and Collabstr, Insense or QuickAds' Remy if you want creators delivering content without running outreach yourself. Modash Essentials costs $199 a month, billed annually.

Modash limits

What Modash costs, and what the limits buy.

Modash Essentials is $199 a month and Performance $499, both billed annually. Monthly billing costs more: the pricing page shows annual savings of 33% and 17%. Every plan has the same core features, and the price rises with usage limits.

What 300 opened profiles means in practice. If you open 30 profiles to shortlist 10 creators for a brief, Essentials covers 10 briefs a month. The 150 email unlocks cap first-touch outreach at 150 creators. Performance adds creator payments and Shopify affiliate payouts, free up to $10,000 a year combined and 5% after that. Billed monthly, the two plans are $299 and $599: Modash's pricing FAQ says annual billing saves $100 a month on both. Modash pricing, read 24 October 2026.

Why teams leave

Why teams look for Modash alternatives.

Teams rarely leave Modash because search is bad. They leave because of metering, the jump to Performance, the three-network scope, or the production work Modash was never built to do.

  • The meters run out. Heavy discovery months hit the 300-open and 150-unlock limits, and the next step is Performance.
  • Performance is a $300 a month step. On annual billing it goes from $2,388 to $5,988 a year, mostly to add payments, affiliates and more seats.
  • Three networks. Modash covers creators with 1K+ followers on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. LinkedIn, X, Twitch and Pinterest need another tool.
  • Fake-follower scoring is Instagram-only. Modash's help center says fake-follower and audience-credibility scores are not available for TikTok or YouTube profiles.
  • Search is where it stops. Modash finds, organizes and tracks. The brief, the shoot, the edit and the paid usage rights are still your team's job.
Where Modash genuinely wins

A 380M+ profile index, 37 filters, AI and image search, lookalikes, and creators who already follow you. Published prices, a 14-day trial, monthly or annual billing, a Shopify integration and an AI connector for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. For a team that searches every day, it is hard to beat on depth.

Alternatives

Eight Modash alternatives, by the reason you are leaving.

If the price or the meters are the problem

1. Heepsy

Best for: search on a small budget, with LinkedIn included

Heepsy searches Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn with AI, lookalike and text search, and adds email outreach and tracking on paid plans.

  • Standout: a free plan with 500 results a month, and 5,000 results a month on the $69 Starter plan.
  • Limitation: contact emails come only with unlocked advanced profiles, 100 a month on Starter.
  • Pricing: Free, Starter $69/mo, Plus $149/mo, Advanced $229/mo billed annually ($89, $199 and $299 monthly). Heepsy pricing

2. Collabstr

Best for: skipping the database and hiring creators at posted rates

Collabstr is a marketplace of 1.3m+ creators who list packages with their own prices. Search and hiring are free; you pay per gig, with escrow until delivery.

  • Standout: no meters on searching, and the rate is on the profile before you write.
  • Limitation: a 10% hiring fee on every booking, 5% on Premium, and creators are limited to those who signed up.
  • Pricing: Free, Pro $249/mo, Premium $333/mo, billed annually. Collabstr pricing

If you need deeper vetting

3. HypeAuditor

Best for: teams that vet audiences before any outreach

HypeAuditor is known for audience-quality scoring, with discovery, media plans and campaign management.

  • Standout: free sign-up with media plans, campaign management and demo versions of other features.
  • Limitation: paid pricing sits behind a demo. HypeAuditor publishes no price; third-party reviews report plans from $299 a month, so get a written quote.
  • Pricing: demo-based. HypeAuditor pricing

If you have outgrown search and need a program suite

4. GRIN

Best for: Shopify brands running gifting, affiliate and paid creators at volume

GRIN runs search, outreach through its AI agent Gia, gifting, paid and affiliate campaigns, escrow payouts and content tracking.

  • Standout: published monthly plans, a free plan, and nothing taken from creator earnings.
  • Limitation: a 5% to 20% management fee on every wallet deposit, and a smaller creator network (700K+) than Modash's index.
  • Pricing: Free plus 20%, $200/mo plus 10%, $500/mo plus 7%, $1,500/mo plus 5%. GRIN pricing

5. Upfluence

Best for: ecommerce brands that want a fixed fee and more networks

Upfluence covers search across 14M+ creators, outreach with its Jaice AI, campaign management, ecommerce integrations and payouts with automatic tax forms.

  • Standout: a fixed platform fee with no percentage of sales, and integrations including Amazon and Magento.
  • Limitation: quote-only, with a trial after a call and a 12-month minimum contract.
  • Pricing: custom quote. Upfluence pricing

6. Influencer Hero

Best for: teams whose bottleneck is sending outreach, not finding creators

Influencer Hero pairs creator search with automated bulk outreach, drip sequences, a CRM, product send-outs, payouts and UGC tracking.

  • Standout: 1,000 reach-outs a month on Standard, 5,000 on Pro, with native Gmail and Outlook.
  • Limitation: a 3-month minimum on every plan, and an entry price over three times Modash Essentials.
  • Pricing: Standard $649/mo, Pro $1,049/mo, Business $2,490/mo. Influencer Hero pricing

If the real gap is the content

7. Insense

Best for: UGC from vetted creators plus partnership ads

Insense is a marketplace for UGC, seeding, Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads, with managed campaigns from its in-house team.

  • Standout: creators who are screened and onboarded, and partnership-ad connections on every plan.
  • Limitation: quarterly auto-renewal, and a 7% to 20% marketplace fee on top of creator payments.
  • Pricing: trial from $650/mo, then $500 or $800 a month billed quarterly. Insense pricing

8. QuickAds Remy

Best for: teams with a good Modash shortlist and nobody to turn it into ads

Remy is our influencer agent, AI assisted and human reviewed. Describe who you want in plain English, or seed it with three creators you like. It searches Instagram, YouTube and TikTok live, negotiates under your cap and returns finished video with usage terms attached.

  • Standout: priced per booking with the creator fee inside, scripts built from 32M+ ads, and brief to delivery in 5 to 7 days.
  • Limitation: it is not a research database. If daily searching and audience analytics are the job, keep Modash or Heepsy.
  • Pricing: UGC video $129, Gold creator $299 (5K to 50K followers), Mega creator $699 (50K to 250K). Platform access on its own is $299 a month. How Remy works
How to choose

Three questions settle it.

  • How many briefs a month? At under 10, Heepsy or Collabstr cost less than Modash. Above that, Modash's depth pays for itself.
  • Do you pay creators through the tool? Then compare Modash Performance (0% to $10,000 a year, then 5%) with GRIN (5% to 20% of deposits) at your real spend.
  • Who turns the shortlist into ads? Count the hours. Our sourcing report puts briefing and review at $150 to $600 of internal time per video. If that time does not exist, a marketplace or Remy changes more than a cheaper database.
Verdict

The short version, by use case.

  • Cheaper search: Heepsy.
  • Vetting first: HypeAuditor.
  • Full program, published price: GRIN. Fixed fee on a 12-month contract: Upfluence.
  • Outreach volume: Influencer Hero.
  • Content, not data: Collabstr per gig, Insense for partnership ads, Remy for finished video at a fixed price.
  • Stay on Modash if your team searches daily and already has the people to brief, film and edit.

Questions

Modash and its alternatives, answered.

Vendor details from each vendor's own site, checked 24 October 2026. Third-party figures are labelled as reported.

How much does Modash cost?

Modash Essentials is $199 a month and Performance $499 a month, both billed annually ($2,388 and $5,988 a year). Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year. Billed monthly, they are $299 and $599. Prices rise with usage limits such as opened profiles, email unlocks and tracked creators. Checked 24 October 2026.

What is Modash?

Modash is influencer marketing software for finding, managing, tracking and paying creators. It indexes 380M+ Instagram, TikTok and YouTube profiles with over 1,000 followers, and adds a CRM, an inbox, content tracking, Shopify sales attribution and, on Performance, creator payments and affiliate payouts.

What's better than Modash?

It depends on why you are leaving. Heepsy is cheaper for search, HypeAuditor goes deeper on audience quality, GRIN and Upfluence run fuller programs, and Influencer Hero sends more outreach. If the gap is content, Collabstr, Insense or QuickAds' Remy deliver creator videos instead of data.

Does Modash have a free trial?

Yes. Modash offers a 14-day self-serve trial with limited profile views and email unlocks, so you can test search before paying. Heepsy and GRIN have free plans with no time limit, and Collabstr is free to search and hire with a fee per booking.

Modash vs Upfluence: which should I choose?

Choose Modash for deep self-serve search across 380M+ profiles at a published price with monthly or annual billing. Choose Upfluence for a fixed-fee ecommerce suite with more integrations, if a quoted price and a 12-month minimum contract suit you. Both track Shopify sales and pay creators.

What are the main Modash competitors?

The main Modash competitors are Heepsy, HypeAuditor, Upfluence, GRIN, Influencer Hero, Influencity and Favikon for software, and Collabstr and Insense as marketplaces. QuickAds' Remy competes for teams that want finished creator video at $129 per UGC video rather than a search subscription.

Does Modash check fake followers?

Yes, for Instagram. Modash shows fake-follower and audience-credibility data, and you can filter by fake-follower percentage. Its help center says these scores are currently available for Instagram only, so vet TikTok and YouTube creators another way. Compare views per post against follower count as a second check.
